John Lewis, a Monterey County Native, is proud to offer an environmentally friendly solution to the fog and moisture found in double paned windows through his newest venture, The Glass Guru. John as the Owner and President of Lewis Builders Inc. has been repairing and replacing doors and windows for over a decade.
According to Lewis, "The Glass Guru window restoration is an environmentally green process. Repairing the window, instead of replacing, prevents the disposal of the fogged glass, and the drying process also reinstates the R-value, (thermal efficiency), which reduces energy costs and the overall carbon foot print of the building."
"The process is less than half the cost of replacing the window, it only takes 15 minutes, and is minimally invasive," said Lewis.
In addition to the moisture problem, we can remove hard water spots and scratches from all types of glass including; shower doors, windows, table tops, etc.
The Glass Guru offers a complete line of traditional glass services for residential and commercial, including business, and store front applications. Other traditional glass items include tub/shower doors and enclosures, mirrors, table-tops and shelving. Screens are another major part of our business, from selling new or repairing old.
